//HOME		Majority of our elderly are frail elderly who do not have any support network. Besides, many of them are financially unstable and suffering different health problems. On average they are above seventy years old, and we are serving about 260 of them. They are mainly the Koo-li, the Mah Jie and Samsui women who had contributed a lot to the growth of Singapore. In view of this, majority of them are under the Public Assistance Scheme, this means that they receive a monthly allowance of about $260 from the Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS). Although their financial need is been taken care of, their social, psychological and other needs require some assistance. In view of this, our group aims to provide assistance to them in the social and psychological aspects of their life.
